NeuroPulse — Privacy Policy

How this app handles your information

Last updated: 22 August 2026

NeuroPulse has no accounts, no servers and no analytics. Your test results are stored on your device and are not transmitted to us. We cannot see your scores, and we do not want to.

The short version. We collect nothing. Everything the app records stays on your iPhone. The only information that ever leaves your device is your leaderboard score — and only if you choose to use Game Center, in which case Apple handles it, not us.

1. Who we are

NeuroPulse (“the app”, “we”) is published by Omer Elmas. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at engomerelmas@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect no personal information. The app has no sign-up, no login, no email capture, no advertising identifiers, no tracking technologies and no third-party analytics software.

3. What is stored on your device

The app saves the following locally, in the app's own storage on your iPhone. It is never uploaded to us:

WhatWhy
Your completed test results — date, the four pillar scores, your NeuroScore and estimated brain age To show your history and trend
The dates you completed a testTo calculate your daily streak
The goal you chose during onboardingTo highlight the matching game
Your settings — haptics on or off, reminder preferenceTo remember your choices

This data is removed when you delete the app. You can also erase it at any time from Settings → Delete my data inside the app.

4. Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment happens entirely within Apple's systems — we never see your payment details, card numbers or billing address. The app asks Apple whether a valid purchase exists so it can unlock paid features. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Game Center and the leaderboard

The leaderboard is provided by Apple's Game Center. It is optional. If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, the app submits your NeuroScore so it can be ranked, and reads the leaderboard to show your position.

6. Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled by iOS on your device. There is no push server and no message is sent over the internet. You can turn reminders off inside the app, or in iOS Settings.

7. Health and medical disclaimer

NeuroPulse estimates a “brain age” from how quickly and accurately you play four short games. It is a self-tracking and entertainment tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or screen for any condition, and it cannot detect cognitive decline or dementia. Your results are not health records and are not shared with anyone. If you are worried about your memory, attention or thinking, please speak to a doctor.

8. Children

NeuroPulse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since the app collects no personal information at all, no such data can be gathered. Game Center accounts for minors are governed by Apple's own age restrictions and parental controls.

9. Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR (Europe and the UK) and the CCPA (California) give you rights to access, correct, export and delete personal data held about you. Because we hold no personal data about you on any server, there is nothing for us to look up, export or erase. The data on your device is entirely under your control and can be deleted at any time from Settings → Delete my data or by removing the app.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

10. Data security

Because your results stay on your device, they are protected by your iPhone's own security — your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and iOS file encryption. If you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, your app data may be included in that backup, governed by Apple's terms.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be described in the app's release notes.
